1) Like so many others, I became infatuated with Billy after the LOTR movies. Once I began researching him, it was impossible not to notice Dominic, as they are rather joined at the hip. Their relationship somehow became irresistible to me - I wanted to know more about both of them.

2) I wish I could remember that, but I honestly don't. I do remember noticing how much better written some of them were than others - some are ABSOLUTELY amazing.

3) Dreamscape - (heavy, worrisome sigh.) I haven't read it in quite some time. That may be a good or a not-so-good thing - either way I was just playing around with a few of the ideas I had. I guess I feel 'unsure' about it in many ways. It might be best described as an experiment.

4) Probably that they love each other in real life.

5) Hummm...well, trigger a man's jealousy with his favorite person and lots of interesting things can happen. I wonder what might happen if Dominic's tolerance was pushed to the brink? Might get physical, and maybe just a little bloody (in a very sexy way, of course.) And as an after thought, perhaps a more present day setting would support that better. He's older now, and probably more self assured in a few areas. :)

1) What got me into it was seeing some of the stuff from the extended releases from the movies and thinking, "Oh my god. These two are seriously in love with each other." Oh, and Dominic. Yeah.
2) I don't remember what the first one was... I read pretty much everything I could find on Library of Moria all at once.
3) The first one I wrote was "Glass" and I'm still writing the series and it's probably the most serious and most intense stuff I write... also the only place where I really let my random medical fascination poke its head in. I was terrified of it at first because I thought my friends would be horrified, but now I'm glad I wrote it and continue to write it.
4) The fact that they are still blatantly obviously to some degree in love with each other. And discuss it regularly on Twitter.
5) I want someone with much more artistic talent than me to do some nice artwork of them doing some extremely explicit things to each other. Yup. That would do it.

1-I adored Billy and Dom from the very first time I saw Fellowship of the Ring, but I didn't start enjoying Monaboyd until much later. A fic started it all for me.
2-The first monaboyd fic that I read that was by Pippin (I think she's used other pen names but at the time she was Pippin) It's called "TALK TO ME" and here's the link: http://monaboyd.livejournal.com/248037.html (http://monaboyd.livejournal.com/248037.html) Once I read that fic, I was off looking for more.
3-The first one I attempted to write isn't posted because I never finished it. It's still somewhere on my computer in bits and pieces. I am not totally certain, but I think the first one I posted is "Let's Dance". It's all dialogue so, all talk and no action. It's short and silly. LOL
4-Most recently, Dom's Twitter posts. But I have always loved their RL relationship.
5-A wedding fic, maybe? Billy and Dom planning their wedding and possibly disagreeing on things like music, location, what to wear, but ultimately it all comes together. I haven't seen one like that but if anyone knows where one is, I'd love to read it.

1. What got you into monaboyd? Everything is Elijah's fault. I've been a fan of his since I was (and he was) a kid, and when I heard he was in LOTR, I had to see it. Noticed Dom, since Merry is by far my favorite character in the books. I had a very brief Domlijah period, but then the relationship between Dom and Billy became so obvious that I never looked back.

2. What was the first monaboyd fic you read? I don't remember this either! Probably among the old classics by Beizy or PippinMcTaggert or a number of others.

3. What was the first monaboyd fic you wrote? How do you feel about it now?Yurgh, I think it was probably Three which is actually Dombillijah threesome. This was during my transition, when I was surprised at how hot Dom and Billy were without Elijah. :D There are parts of it I still like, but as with all old writing, it does make me quite cringy.

4. What's your favorite monaboyd fic trope or real-life fact? That they love each other? There's a reason why everyone says that. As far as tropes go, I will never tire of first-timey fics. Ever.

5. What's the one monaboyd thing you've always wanted to see? Leave a prompt- could be fic, art, picspam, anything you wish someone would do! So, so many. I can't even list them all. Half the time I end up doing them myself!
