On a scale of "one" to "Gollum with a fish" how excited for The Hobbit are you? Definitely leaning toward the Gollum end of the spectrum.

I would estimate my earliest lurking began around 2004 or so. As I came to know more about the LOTR characters, and subsequently the actors who portrayed them, I found RPS, and then I was hooked.
What's your favorite monaboyd moment?
Oohh - hard to choose, but I am quite fond of the ORC hug, too. A close second would probably be the well known picture of Billy and Dom at the Berlin premiere. You know, the one in which they're looking at no one else but each other. :)
On a scale of "one" to "Gollum with a fish" how excited for The Hobbit are you?
I'm only about a 5 or so. I hope I have a delayed response and become much more excited as it gets nearer.
Other fandoms: No, prefer this one.
I did read a little POTC fic for awhile, but it didn't get under my skin as well as the LOTR slash.

Lurked sporadically in 2003-2005, came back to lurk consistently in 2007-2008, and started commenting and then writing in 2008.
What's your favorite monaboyd moment?

Right now, Dom's poem is pretty epic. And the brief reunion video footage. I tend to like the most recent of things. The Twitter in general is just rife with inspiration.
On a scale of "one" to "Gollum with a fish" how excited for The Hobbit are you?
I'm about halfway there. It doesn't yet feel real to me, but when it comes I'll be SO EXCITE I slam fishies on rocks with my bare hands.
Other fandoms: Nothing nearly as consistently as Lotrips, though I was hardcore into *NSYNC slash several years ago. I dabble in other 'verses, with maybe a fic or two.
Other ships: In Lotrips? I'll also read Billy/anyone, especially Billy/Orlando.
Random things you love: Right now, the show Louie and Frank Ocean's coming out letter.

I started reading it late in 2007 but didn't comment much until early 2009. I was a lurker.
What's your favorite monaboyd moment?
The photo of Billy and Dom at the Lakers game, or the photo of the two of them at the Empire Magazine Awards raising their glasses in a toast. (I'd post the photos but I have no clue how to do that in an LJ comment.)

Gollum doesn't have a fish just yet. He's close to finding one, but not quite there yet.

I've read a bit of Sherlock lately and enjoyed it but I haven't become completely involved in that yet. I like the occasional Trek fic if it's old school and has nothing to do with JJ Abrams, but again, I just lurk.
Other ships:Sean/Elijah and now and then Sherlock/John but mostly just Billy/Dom

What's your favorite monaboyd moment? Well, since the hug has already been mentioned, I'm gonna go with Shirtgate 2006- excellent in and of itself but also a fond memory of fandom squee. I still have all the phone posts saved in my itunes, including one labeled as "BILLY OMG."
