"TIME FOR FEET" - A Monaboyd Story CH1/A
Date: 2008-05-05 12:01 pm (UTC)We open our story in the wee hours of the morning. The friends are returning home from their favourite local bar, drunk as ‘hobbits’ (although the ‘elf’ and the ‘human’ were doing no better as they struggled to remain upright). They were making a lot of noise following the path to the bungalow, all talking at the same time and laughing hysterically.
Suddenly, two of the hobbits scrambled to enter the house first, while the other members of the ‘fellowship’ watched in amusement. As Dom was finally able to unlock the door, Elijah playfully shoved him aside and in the process knocked him down to the ground.
“Ehhhhhh…Come on…Play fair!” Dom said, clumsily getting to his feet.
“I’m going to get the last beer!” Elijah giggled, running through the front door with Dom now close on his heels.
“Don’t you touch that beer Lij! I was saving that from last night!” Dom shouted as he tried his best to grab onto Elijah’s shirt as they both disappeared into the darkened kitchen.
Moments later, laughter and shouts could be heard coming from the kitchen as the rest of the company finally made it inside. Billy had volunteered to help Viggo drag Orlando into the house, as Sean soberly shut the front door.
“BILLY! Lij is trying to drink the beer I saved for you!” Dom shouted as the ruckus continued in the kitchen. “I need your help!”
“Don’t come in here Billy! Dom’s lying! This isn’t your beer!” Lij answered. “Dom…don’t you dare…Heyyy!” as a loud crash sounded from the room.
Viggo and Billy deposited Orlando on the couch as Sean remained by the door and looked towards the sound.
“I think you should go see what they are up to in there – I don’t think I can handle it at the moment” Sean sighed in defeat as he turned to address Billy. Billy, in return, gave a loud sigh of his own as he staggered towards the kitchen.
“Okay boys…playtime’s over! Daddy’s coming in and there better not be a mess that I have to clean up!” Billy yelled with authority. “I think you guys have had enough to drink and it’s too late for this shit.” Billy said, in exhaustion. Entering the kitchen, he flipped on the light. Within the now illuminated room, Billy found both Dom and Elijah haphazardly on the floor, covered in flour from head to toe. Dom was leaning against the cabinets in pretty much the same position as Elijah, with the broken canister at their feet. Billy quickly took in the situation and saw that no specks of blood were visible, so at least no one was hurt. Elijah turned his head up towards Billy and all he could focus on was Lij’s large blue eyes gazing back at him, noticeably glazed from the large amount of alcohol he consumed that night. He was pouting as he watched Dom contently drinking from a bottle of beer, who on the other hand did not bother to look in Billy’s direction.
“What the hell happened in here?” Billy questioned, although the evidence was quite visible.
“Dom tried to kill me!” Elijah accusingly pointed to Dom.
“Death by Flour!” Dom shouted, as he raised the beer from his lips in triumph, proceeding to drink the last of the alcohol.

Date: 2008-05-05 12:03 pm (UTC)Dom caught off guard by Billy’s remark, suddenly began to choke in mid gulp as he looked at Billy in shock. This in turn made Elijah start to giggle with his usual high pitched laughter, which was a bit too loud for Billy’s drunken ears. Dom finally recovered as Billy took the bottle from his hands, and finished the beer with three long gulps.
“HEY! What do you think your doing Bills?” Dom whined as he watched Billy finish off the beer.
“I thought you said you were saving it for ME. Isn’t that what you said earlier, while you and Lij attempted to kill yourselves with baking products?” Billy said, as he rested the now empty bottle on the kitchen counter.
“Okay, we got Orlando to bed…” Sean said, entering the kitchen, then stopped as Billy did, and took a look around at his surroundings. “Jesus…this place is a mess…Lij you alright?” Sean continued as he approached Elijah and presented his hands to help him up.
“Seanie, remind me to buy some beer tomorrow and put MY name on it...” Elijah said accepting Sean’s outstretched hands and swaying as he slumped into Sean’s arms, dusting him in the process with the white powder.
“You don’t have to be spiteful about it Lij…I really was saving it…” Dom said still sitting on the floor not looking at Elijah.
“Passing out and not being able to drink the last beer, does not mean that it’s yours!” Elijah said, his words muffled in Sean’s chest as he was being held up by his strong arms.
“Alright boys – I think that’s enough for tonight. Let’s go Lij, before you say something you will regret in the morning. Say goodnight Lij…night guys. Oh and thanks Dom – now I have to clean him up.” Sean said, turning Elijah around and starting to walk out of the room.
“Night Billy…night freak.” Elijah murmured, as he was being led away.
Now alone, Billy squatted near Dom and started to swat some of the flour from his hair.
“I don’t know what I’m going to do with you sometimes – you know that – right?” Billy said with a smirk, shaking his head.
“He started it…anyway still got the beer” Dom said, looking into Billy’s eyes with a smile on his face. “And how come you didn’t come when I called you – I needed you…” Dom continued looking at Billy and sighed as he slumped heavily against the cabinets and closed his eyes.
“Oh don’t you dare blame me for this mess – not this time…and don’t you dare fall asleep on me. I’m getting to old to pick you up, my back isn’t what it used to be. Now get up before I leave you here all night.” Billy said, shaking Dom and standing, reaching out for him.
“Ta Bills…” Dom thanked Billy as he latched on to Billy’s midsection.
“Shit Dom! Use your legs, your going to throw out my back again…” Billy groaned as he lifted Dom off the floor.
“I’m going to have to get Lij back – you know that right…HIS beer, my ass…hey wait…Bill’s STOP!” Dom shouted as his feet slid on the tile, covered thick with flour and fell right down on Billy, between his legs.
“OHHH MY BACK!” Billy yelled out in pain, as he fell back hard on the tile floor. “Bloody fucking hell!” Billy moaned.
“Oh Shit! I’m sorry Bills my feet slipped…but this is quite comfy – no?” Dom wickedly winked as he shifted his position, until he was chest to chest with Billy.
“You’re an idiot…and it might be nice and comfy if I wasn’t covered in flour, on a cold tile floor and not ready to piss my pants from all the alcohol I drank, while you happily grind on my bladder."
“But it’s like heaven Bills – look, we are up in the white clouds” Dom said, continuing to smile in Billy’s face.
“We are also going to have rain showers – if you don’t get the Hell off me!” Billy said, trying to raise himself up on his elbows in an attempt to push Dom off of him.

Date: 2008-05-05 12:04 pm (UTC)Dom and Billy watched Viggo enter and leave without saying a word, they then looked at each other with wide eyes, then burst into drunken laughter. A few hysterical minutes passed as they continued to snicker at their awkward situation, until Billy began to push at Dom once again.
“Get off me before I piss my pants – again!” Billy snorted.
“Well why didn’t you say that earlier?” Dom innocently replied, leaning back and grabbing the counter for support.
“Help me up you bastard! …before I think of a way to get YOU back for this!” Billy said sternly, as he presented his hands to Dom.
“I can think of some good ideas…but I don’t think I should share.” Dom winked, this time being careful not to slip again, standing up cautiously. With painstaking effort, Billy let Dom help him to his feet. “Careful now Pip, don’t want you to slip and hurt yourself.” He continued with a stupid smirk on his face.
“Ha…Ha! OUCH! That smarts…I don’t think my back can handle surfing today…thanks to you!” Billy sneered at Dom, trying to hide a smile.
“Oh I can fix you right up! I learned some great massage therapy in Hawaii – I can try it out on you.” Dom said, beginning to rub one of his hands on Billy’s lower back.
“Aye that’s alright lad – I think I’ll stick with aspirin. Go find me some, yeah, while I try to get to the loo before I wet my good trousers.” Billy said, slapping Dom’s hand away and began to walk unsteadily out the kitchen.
“Bill – your not mad at me, right?” Dom asked, tenderly putting a hand on Billy’s shoulder. “It was all in fun – yeah?”
“You know I can never stay mad at you…disappointed yes…angry no” Billy said placing his hand on top of Dom’s.
“So, um …should I bring the sugar?” Dom asked with a big grin.
“Dom…” Billy sighed, as he calmly spoke, shaking his head. “No, not tonight …I have a headache.” He gave Dom a reassuring and playful smile as he exited the kitchen. “Just get me some aspirin would ya?”
“Don’t worry Pip! Merry’s here to take care of you!” Dom said excitedly as he watched Billy walk away. “Now if I were aspirin – where would I be?” Dom mumbled to himself as he started to look through the cupboards.
