Oh, molly. You make me so happy. I wavered a little bit in choosing the songs because I wanted to somehow show the evolution of their friendship/relationship. And I'm still not sure how well that ended up translating. But I'm glad you got the jist. :)

I can't get over how ridiculously Billy and Dom these songs are. I admit, part of the reason I downloaded the mix is because (like you!) I am crazy about another pairing in another fandom, and I was curious to see if any of these songs would fit with them. (I love fanmixes, and have made several for my new OTP).

But, no. These are, all of them, completely Billy and Dom songs. And that's okay! That's really good, actually. I love songs that will just put a sappy grin on your face because it so perfectly captures something that makes me so happy. Thinking about Billy and Dom still makes me so happy.

N'aww, you're making me all verklempt. This is my first fanmix ever so some of these songs I've had for a long time, just waiting for the right moment. Like that Trees song, I mean, how can that *not* be about them? (For the longest time I'd planned to use it for a merry/pip vid.)

And I've seen your other fanmixes before and been impressed. You always have the best cover art. But that's just because you're such a creative little ladybug. I just wish you were participating in monaboyd_month. :p

Several songs I'd not heard in this batch, and wow. I think the Blue October tune is my favorite on first listen - such lovely colors and shape to it, and connecting it to these two makes it even better.

About the pictures you chose... I'm enjoying the way that in each one, they're reflecting each other somehow, or moving in parallel; same mood or same tilt to their heads. They're in tune, and it's wonderful.

I'm all bubbling with happiness right now and just thrilled that you like it. I'm so OCD when it comes to slashy fanmixes - I don't like to have any girl singers and none of those pesky 'girl'/'her'/'she', etc words in the lyrics. It just helps me visualize everything better, I guess. :)

And yes, Billy and Dom seriously do just 'fit like a jigsaw'. There's simply no better way to describe them and I love that it's just so evident in everything they do and *are*. Everyone should be so lucky to have a friendship like that. *harts you*

So, my commute? AWESOME! My MonaBoyd tendancies are not well known to the RL people I know, so secretly enjoying the MonaBoyd out there is a unique kick I get. To be listening to Beecake, Billy singing in my head? My fangirl heart flutters, I grin like an idiot and only I know why! Yes. AWESOME COMMUTE!!

I'm in pretty much the same boat as you (even the mister doesn't know I have this journal), so I think that's one of the reasons why I love fanmixes so much. You can listen to the songs in public and around family or friends without having to justify anything and yet you still get the fangirl rush. WINWIN!

I love finding Beatles songs that just fit them so perfectly. (Like When I'm 64, that I think you mentioned to me once!) I think it would please Billy and Dom. ♥
